Karen Dennison is a Partner, Operations Manager and Hydrotechnical Engineer at Thompson Flow Investigations Inc. (TQI). Karen specializes in water resources engineering (highway, rail yard drainage, oil / water separation and storm water management). Ms. Dennison also works on flow monitoring projects doing, inflow / infiltration analyses, data reduction, sewer inspections and assisting with all aspects of field work.
Experience:
Karen is a professional engineer with extensive experience focused on water resources and municipal engineering. She has undertaken various water resources projects including watershed plans, flood damage reduction, floodplain delineation and mapping, backwater calculations, storm water management and BMP facility design, major- minor drainage analyses, highway and rail yard drainage studies and hydraulic/ hydrologic assessment. Karen Dennison has also completed flow monitoring and inflow/infiltration investigation projects. Her municipal experience includes sanitary collection & water supply system planning and analysis, design projects, environmental assessment, infrastructure needs & condition assessment studies as well as rehabilitation planning. In carrying out these projects she has also gained project management expertise in large, complex projects.
